Autumn is one of my favourite times of the year. Foggy mornings with magical sunrises, colourful leaves and still warm enough to get on a hike with your camera without freezing your fingers.
My last hike led me to Ysperklamm. It is one of the biggest gorges in Lower Austria. As far as I can tell it is one of the most impressive ones, too. Granite rocks covered in rich green moss, a golden brown stream flowing through with dozens of tiny waterfalls. The colour of the water is natural and due to the soil of the area. It is wonderful.
The way uphill took me quite a long time as I did long exposures with my variable ND filter every 5 steps. Literally. But it was definitely worth carrying my heavy tripod with me. Enough said. Here are the pictures…
